PHILOSOPHY
IN TEMPESTATE PRORSUM
FORWARD THROUGH THE STORM
It is not a slogan. It is the oldest idea our family owns.
The man who gave it its name lost everything and began again, on the other side of the world. In his old age he left his descendants a single conviction: that the storm is not the enemy. The storm is simply the condition.
It comes for everyone.
The only question that matters is the one you answer with your life when it comes, do you stop, or do you go forward? With that word prorsum, onward an old medallion has traveled through our family from one generation to the next.
On one of its faces, a small boat in the heart of the storm. No one knows for certain how many hands have carried it. It reached ours the way the things that truly matter always do: quietly, more promise than object.
We build boats the same way we carry that word. Not for calm water anyone can sell calm water. We build for the storm, and for everything on the other side of it worth reaching.
The storm is not the point. They are.
A PHILOSOPHY BORN OF THE SEA
The sea does not always offer perfect conditions.
Sometimes it demands decisiveness.
Sometimes it demands experience.
Sometimes it demands a boat capable of responding when calm is no longer a given.
That is why, at TMR, we do not build solely for the easy days. We build for real life on the water: for families, sailors and people who understand that confidence cannot be improvised.
Every TMR boat is born from a fundamental idea: when the environment becomes challenging, the boat must become an extension of the safety, judgement and determination of those on board.
