WHERE IT ALL BEGINS
There are families the sea chooses.
On our father’s side, the water has run in Londoño blood for generations. Long before there was a shipyard, there were Londoños who saw water not as scenery but as a road — and who helped a country of rivers and two seas learn to navigate them. Carlos Hernando Londoño carried that to Cartagena de Indias and did what men of that kind do: he built.
From our mother’s side came something quieter. It came from a man who lost everything — home, country, certainty — and began again on the other side of the ocean. He left his descendants no fortune. He left them something harder to lose: the certainty that life moves forward. Always forward. Especially through the storm.
Craft alone builds boats. Craft and soul build something else entirely.
TMR was born.
Born in Cartagena de Indias, where the Caribbean does not forgive the unprepared — and does not forget those who are worthy of it.
A boat, in the end, is not a boat. It is the time you spend with the ones you love. It is what you leave them and, above all, what you teach them.
That is what we make.
